Around one-third of generally healthy people aged 65 and older will have at least one fall each year, and the number of falls and severity of the injuries increase dramatically with age. Many falls can be attributed to poor balance, weak muscles, low blood pressure, poor vision. The more inactive you are, the more likely you are to experience one or more of these symptoms.
